2024 Plater-Moore Conference on Teaching and Learning
In April of 2024, I presented my research regarding using AI technology in learning and museum studies at the Plater-Moore Conference. This work was a result of a semester-long collaboration while serving as a Teaching Assistant at IUI.
Collections Care & Management TA
I served as a TA during my final year of graduate school during the Museum Studies Collections Care & Management class. I led class demonstrations, presented on my work with education collections, and collaborated with a team of other TAs.
Museum of Broken Relationships Program
I had the privilege of co-leading a public program for the Museum of Broken Relationships Indianapolis exhibit. We led two breakout sessions that explored themes of communication in relationships through a fun furniture arranging activity.
Teaching Toxic Heritage and Museum Collections Research with Generative AI
I conducted research on toxins in the museum and AI research tools and served as a curriculum co-creator for an original activity combining the two topics. I was also able to present my activity to a graduate-level class and evaluate its effectiveness.
